Julia Chambers - I Don't Think I Love You Anymore (Single)

South-African songwriter and producer Julia Church has just releases her soulful, off-kilter pop gem of a single ‘I don’t think i love you anymore’ - a melancholic breakup anthem exploring the road to recovery after a breakup. The track perfectly tows the line between pop and soul, relying on Julia’s exquisite songwriting ability, to supplement a simple yet gorgeously effective production.

In Julia’s own words, the track was written as ‘A diary entry’ - and feels deeply personal, as one of the artists most vulnerable pieces to date.

“I don’t think I love you anymore” is about the freedom that comes with resurfacing after a heartbreak. That feeling of untethering from someone who consumed your thoughts and realising how empowering it is to no longer need them. For years I found myself pining over someone that, I realised, I didn’t even really know anymore. The chasm I felt didn’t really exist, It was just the memory of an old love that kept me anchored until I was able to let go of it.

I wrote it like a journal entry and every lyric has specific personal significance to me. I wanted to be as honest as possible” - Julia Church.
