“Ski” is the definition of Khaid as a young Afro-Trap star, describing what it’s like coming from the slums; the peer pressure and wrong choices, but staying true despite all the challenges. The Nigerian born-and-Lagos-State-based upstart quickly shifts from comparing his vocals with Adele to imagery of shooting like Mad Max in the same melodic breath.
