Offica ft: DBo + Darkovibes - Kolomental (Official Video)
Fusing drill and Afrobeats, ‘Kolomental’ is a raucous, party-starting jam that’s accentuated by all three artists trading effortlessly slick bars. Shot between London and Offica’s native Drogheda, the official video captures the vibrant street energy of the track. Offica insisted that Darkovibes travel to his hometown of Drogheda for the video, where the scenes were shot in his local park with fans and friends.
Coming together after the trio connected at a studio session in London earlier this year. Offica and DBo had already recorded ‘Kolomental’ and the track quickly became a local favourite in Ireland via TikTok. Offica then wanted to have an artist feature from the continent on the hook, and Darkovibes instantly connected with the track. They then shot the video in just four days.
“I liked his sound, and I think he's a really talented artist,” says Offica. “I wanted to try a new sound, and show everyone that I am a different artist.”
DarkoVibes adds: “It was dope to connect with my brothers from Ireland, Offica and DBo, to create a banger which connects Africa to the world. ‘Kolomental’ is due to be mental!”
