Ahead of the release of their debut collaborative EP, JED & Elle are catching people’s attention with the release of "Tru Luv” a refreshing, upbeat tune for the summer bringing together engaging storytelling and lively UK Garage instrumentals.

The Brighton-based duo of JED & Elle emerge on the scene with a track that lets them compliment each other perfectly, with JED’s energetic bars and witty lyricism flowing seamlessly into Elle’s Soulful vocals in the chorus. The track treats the listener to hooks that will just grab ahold of them, at the same time giving a detailed narrative on casual relationships. The pair of artists have displayed how to take a genre and approach it from new angles to make something wholly unique and outrageously good, “Tru Luv” really sets the tone for what is looking to be an incredible EP.

JED speaks more on the single: “It’s a story I’d wanted to write for a while as I’ve seen so many relationships play out like this. I knew it needed to be fun and not too serious, so as soon as I heard this beat I just started writing from the perspective of the guy. After the verses were written I met up with Elle for the first time and she did the chorus which took the track to a way higher level.”

“Tru Luv” is the first single from the fresh collaboration between JED and Elle, who have been seen performing together across many stages and venues across Brighton and London. The Up and coming artists have proven themselves as ones to watch with this upbeat summer anthem and fresh takes on previously defined genres, no doubt the two artists will be treating us to awesome music for years to come, and should have anyone excited for their debut EP.
