South London singer-songwriter BAELY shares his latest single ‘Teleport’ accompanied by the official video. The track is out today and available on all streaming platforms.

The highly-rated emerging artist has developed a reputation for his distinctive, soulful vocals and his ability to seamlessly fuse his R&B foundations with other musical influences of old and new. With just a few releases so far on the board, BAELY has already received a broad range of press coverage from the likes of Complex and Wonderland. For his latest release ‘Teleport’, BAELY layers his smooth vocals over a dreamy, electro-R&B soundscape infused with his love for Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul and Jazz. The Londoner wrote the single whilst away in Los Angeles, teaming up with US-based producer and SOULECTION alumni, Matthew ‘Insightful’ Suggett (Tay Iwar, Baby Rose), and later went on to feature additional instrumentation from British Jazz/Soul talent, Reuben James (Sam Smith) and New York-based producer/bassist Ben ‘CARRTOONS’ Carr (Mac Ayres) - as well as contributions from two other incredibly talented musicians Louis Van der Westhuizen and Marriane Haynes. The track was also mixed and mastered by Lavar Bullard and Prash ‘Engine-Earz’ Mistry (Jorja Smith, SZA).

“It’s about finding that one special person you just want to escape with and leave everything behind - the kind of love that you want to get lost in because with that person, everything seems complete”, the artist muses. “I wanted to explore multiple dynamics of love and relationships within the track - the romantic aspects, the annoying aspects, the physical side, the adventurous side, etc and encapsulate it within a story of how incredible it would be to be able to teleport to the most remote part of Earth and enjoy the little micro-world you’ve built together.”

‘Teleport’ is accompanied by stunning lo-fi visuals that see BAELY and his on-screen love (Rudi McCree) set on a costal cliff amongst a dreamy, sci-fi landscape - courtesy of director’s Charlie Rees and DP George Harper of 'Fuego Films' alongside VFX by ’This and That Media’.
