MALIKA - Bless Her Soul (Single)

After making a strong return with her vulnerable offering ‘Stuck On You’, London singer-songwriter MALIKA is back to build on the momentum with uplifting new track ‘Bless Her Soul’, out now.

Co-written by Mr Starz Up and Ian Henry, and arriving with emphatic production from Piers Agget (from Rudimental) and Shaun Barrett (Stormzy, Junior Andre, H.E.R, Stefflon Don), ‘Bless Her Soul’ see’s MALIKA in fine form once again. The talented vocalist executes some powerful vocals which are partnered by a soulful choir performance, all of which sit perfectly over a production consisting of an organ piano rift and moving live drums played by McNasty (Wretch 32, Wizkid, Labrinth).

Speaking on ‘Bless Her Soul’, MALIKA shares, “we as a people have been through a lot these past few years, and we are all rebuilding, re-figuring out what is important to us and how we want our future to be, this song is all of that, encouraging anyone who listens to not give up, to keep going”.

The single effectively follows on from her June release ‘Stuck On You’, which received a great spread of support from Victoria Jane on BBC Radio 1, DJ Ace on BBC Radio 1Xtra and Rebecca Judd on Apple Music.
