PREMIERE: Eldé - Metaphoric State of Mind Vol 2 (EP)
Following on from her preceding hit ‘Take it from me’, West London’s Eldé releases her enticing project ‘Metaphoric State of Mind Vol 2’. 26-year-old West London singer, songwriter and performer, Eldé aka Jeniequa Quamina, is a multi-genre artist with a voice to silence any crowd.
Eldé, first began performing at the age of 10, with her passion for music flourishing throughout her time at Barbara Speake Stage School. Eldé wasn't always a triple threat, but when given the chance to star as the main character in a school show, she soon discovered her hidden talent and found her voice.
Eldé released her first EP 'REAL' via SoundCloud in 2016, birthed from her own real life experiences, before going on release her sophomore EP 'ABOUT US' in 2018. Standout singles from the project were ‘Breathe’ and ‘Blessings ft. Kida Kudz’.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Eldé released her next project 'Metaphoric State of Mind Vol 1' in 2019 which singles ‘I Don'tReally Like You’ & ‘Public’ were premiered on both Capital XTRA by DJ Tiny and BBC 1Xtra by Sian Anderson, with 'I Don't Really Like You' also being featured as the 'Weekend Anthem' on BBC 1Xtra too.
Most recently, following on from singles 'Epiphany' and 'Here We Go', Eldé released ‘Kumbaya’ and ‘Take it from me’ earlier this year to much success. Eldé is now set to release Metaphoric State of mind Vol 2, into which mirrors growth, peace and the coping mechanisms of heartbreak itself. From Solidarity, peace and acceptance through tracks ‘Peoples Reprise’ and ‘Kumbaya’ to anti love song ‘Take it from me’ to feel good tracks ‘Collide’ and ‘Stay ft Kwoli Black’ to saying ‘Goodbye’. In true Eldé style, she laces these tracks with her unique, soulful voice.
