After steadily making a name for herself in her home city Toronto, Ontario, Canadian songstress Tasha Angela now looks ahead to introducing her artistry on an international level, with her forthcoming funk infused floor filler, “Space and Time”.

Complete with uptempo, feel good elements as the emerging Future Soul artist and pianists dreamy vocal takes centre stage, the first release from her forthcoming full length project serves as the perfect teaser.

Speaking on the track, the latest signing to Def Jam’s imprint, Varick St Records explains, “”Space and Time” is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever made so far! It’s a positive song that always puts me in a good mood and was made with the intention to manifest love, good energy and happiness into my life and the lives of others who listen. I’m realising more and more how our mind is powerful and the more we feed it with positivity, the more we bring that energy into our daily experiences".

Since discovering her talent as an artist and musician and going on to further excel in live performance settings, Tasha Angela has continued to go from strength to strength since her debut EP ‘Hidden Gems’ back in 2020. With her sights now set on expanding her scope and a UK show schedule of which she was selected to take part in quickly approaching, it’s an exciting time for the artist. Due to share the line up with an incredible number of emerging artists from around the world, the opportunity and celebrated platform hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Victoria Jane, will see her follow in the footsteps of artists including Reuben James, Kara Marni, Sipprell, Morgan Munroe, and Mychelle.
