PREMIERE: Joshua Luke Smith - Hidden (Official Video)

Poet, Wordsmith and rapper, Joshua Luke Smith releases new single ‘Hidden’.  Known for his mantras to ‘speak into the chaos’ and ‘writing poems for the people’, Smith does exactly that on this brand new, hard-hitting track.

Smith says of the track, “Hidden” was written in one sitting, the reflective monologue expresses as a stream of consciousness exploring ego, humility and the pursuit of redemption.”

Smith has a particular talent with tackling suffering and hardship yet leaving the listener with optimistic hope. Ever the lyricist with words that pack a punch, Hidden says; “Don’t ever try and fit in you’ll never have a home outside the body you live in Look with a blind man’s vision You’ll see what they’re all missing There a difference between not dying, surviving, And actually living.”

A simple but beautifully shot video by Manoel Bolutife Akure accompanies the release.
