TraviS & Elzzz - Full Circle (Mixtape)

Friday 13th January - Dublin-based rappers TraviS & Elzzz drop an 8-track mixtape, ‘Full Circle’, with Dublin beatmaker and long-term collaborator Liam Harris (Sello) on production. The project marks a defining moment in the Irish Rap scene as two of the most talked about rappers join forces and deliver a game-changing body of work that sends ripples far beyond their home turf. ‘Full Circle’ is opening the floodgates on what is just the beginning for these titans - including the first breakout song they did together ‘ICL’ - with TraviS & Elzzz offering an insight into their journeys so far personally and professionally. Breaking down barriers placed by their peers and industry figures within Ireland, ‘Full Circle’ is the tale of the underdog and embodies everything they stand for whilst creating space for those who follow.

TraviS & Elzzz started collaborating in lockdown in 2021 when they would freestyle back to back at the Trenches (an outdoor spot in Dublin) creating an appetite for them as a pair. Both Nigerian-born, TraviS moved to Ireland when he was six and Elzzz when he was fourteen and had the shared challenging experience of leaving their native. TraviS grew up on 50 Cent, Skepta and Section Boys and has been rapping since 12 whilst holding down a successful modelling career. Elzzz is inspired by the likes of Lil Wayne, Skepta and Jay Z, as well as having a massive love for Afrobeats and spent time as a dancer whilst also holding down an engineering job by day. TraviS was a fan of Elzzz’s music before they started to collab, and it wasn't until they met that the two musicians began to thrive off each other's contrasting flows, cadence, sense of humour and energy. Now their brotherly bond remains at the core of everything they do.

TraviS & Elzzz are at the helm of a creative movement in Dublin called Gliders, a clothing line, event and pop-up series and community of like-minded creatives of musicians, videographers, illustrators and more. Best known for their sell-out tracksuits and trucker hats, Gliders have bought a new layer to Dublin and helped create a buzz and enthusiasm for the scene it has never had. They base their ethos on a love for what they do, with their slogan being “Think It, Materialise it” a reminder always to keep their eyes on the prize. The pair have already received numerous co-signs from the likes of GRM Daily, Mixtape Madness, Clash, and District to name a few and they are just getting started.
