MechieSoCrazy sat down with Wordplay Magazine to answer our infamous 10 Questions:
1. So tell me, how did it all begin? What sparked your love for music?
Growing up, I would always be enthusiastic about singing and dancing. It led me in my youthful days to be a part of a church choir which truly sparked the fire in me to become a musician and entertainer. I fell in love with the art behind music when I was 9 years old.
2. Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?
My idol is the legendary entertainer of all time, Michael Jackson. And I would love to create music with Usher, Stevie Wonder, and Chris Brown especially in the choreography area behind a visual.
3. Talking about your new EP "Crazy Dope Love"? What are your top 3 songs off project and why?
This Ep Is My Baby, it means so much to me not only because it is my first project released to the world, but also because of the concept and passion put within every record on the project. I am proud of this project because I controlled the temperature of it versus a label doing so, and I have experienced bad situations previously. Crazy Dope Love was executive produced by K-Major who is a super talented producer that has worked with Jacquees, Future, MoneyBagg Yo just to name a few. Additional production on the project includes OG Parker, SK, and rising producer Buggy Beats.
My top three songs from this EP are “Play,” “Killing Me Softly,” and “Pop Yo Shit.” These songs show all -3- sides of me: crazy, dope, and loving.
