NSJ Mali - Puzzles (Official Video)

South London lyricist NSJ Mali unleashes a standout new rap cut in “Puzzles” – taken from the rising star’s hotly anticipated debut EP Arcane dropping Wednesday 25th October.

Continuing an electric run of form following his fierce track “Hustlin’” ft. London cult rap icon Villz, NSJ Mali delivers blazing authenticity and a further showcase of his lyrical depth and clear talent across this latest offering; an incendiary soundscape founded in emotive pianos and menacing strings, the 20-year-old talent seamlessly dissects the adversities of inner-city youth culture while championing a burning hunger for infrastructure and development beyond music to veterans in the rap landscape. Backed by the progressive, heavy-set 808s setting pace, “Puzzles” plays as a canvas for Mali’s natural confidence and high-calibre style flourishing with authority and menace, as he underlines himself as one of the most highly regarded rising rap talents in the UK.

Born in Kennington before moving between Brixton/ Streatham Hill, Mali’s lyrical intellect rapidly became known for encapsulating the multi-dimensional sounds and character of South London.

Earning serious stripes following the release of his 2021 smash hit “Ether” (7M+ streams), quickly led to his signing with 2K Management alongside peers J Hus, Lotto Ash and JAE5. Guiding his path to success while imprinting his poetic affinities onto the culture, NSJ Mali dropped a stream of addictive singles including his infamous MIXTAPE MADNESSNext Up” freestyle, “Maths” produced by UK frontrunner TSB (Headie One, Knucks), “No Pressure” ft. Mugzz and “Lost Interlude” - catapulting his upper-echelon brand of UK rap into the ether with swift acclaim coming from CLASH, NOTION and WONDERLAND amongst many others.

Already boasting key co-signs from everyone including Dave and Blanco to Kenny Allstar and Clint CRTZ.RTW, NSJ Mali is primed and ready for mainstream realisation. With his highly anticipated debut EP dropping imminently, NSJ Mali feels like London’s next breakout star in the making.
