PREMIERE: Weirdoe - HOTEL CECIL (Single)

HOTEL CECIL is the first release taken from Northampton wordsmith, Weirdoe’s upcoming EP, SCUM. Hot on the heels of his debut project BORN IN A BARN, in July 2023, which saw Weirdoe chart at number 2 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts as well as receive support from BBC Introducing along with numerous press coverage, Weirdoe is ready to prove that he isn’t slowing down any time soon with a brand new body of work.

HOTEL CECIL allows Weirdoe to fully embrace his name, as over the course of 2 minutes, he vocally demonstrates a descent into madness. Inspiration for the track, as per the title, was taken from the infamous establishment, once based on skid row in LA, where they’ve have been multiple accounts of horrors occurring within the walls. This is something which took the interest of Weirdoe, to base the track and the idea of being locked inside a room at the Cecil, with nothing but your thoughts and the voices in your head.

Delivered over a progressive, raw production by long-time collaborating, Harlz, this release sets the tone for the EP to come, which Weirdoe promises shows a much darker side to his persona than his previous output.
