Jords - Live @ The Jazz Cafe
Jords at the renowned Jazz Cafe was nothing short of extraordinary and I don’t use that word often. The venue was PACKED with people who had come together to witness Jords' captivating performance. With the live band and the Jordettes providing a soulful accompaniment, the atmosphere was charged with a kind of musical spirituality.
One of the best parts of attending a show in the performer's city is the surprise guests, and Jords didn't disappoint. He brought so much talent to the room, including Kadiata, Cashh, Miles from Kinshasa, Lil Sykes, Bea Anderson, and Jordan Mackampa. The room was quite literally bursting with talent, and the collaborative energy was peaking!
The energy in the room seemed to grow with each passing song. The good vibes were contagious, and it was clear that the crowd was fully immersed in the performance. I even heard there were people “ugly crying” when Jords delivered an emotional performance of "Halos," - Just shows how we can all connect deeply over music.
Jords' vocal abilities were showcased to the fullest, he has a mad vocal range, seamlessly transitioning from soulful singing to deep resonant tones, and then back up again. His live performance sounded as good as, if not better than, the recorded versions!
It was an amazing night that leaves you with that good happy buzz feeling, I felt so proud to see Jords up on that stage with a fully packed out room of people supporting and genuinely enjoying the experience.
