K-SAULZ x DiffHop - The Craft (Album)

Coming from BARD PICASSO RECORDS on the 28th October 2023 is the new album release from South Wales artist K-SAULZ and production duo DiffHop (Dave Pearce & Lee Hardy).

The Craft is a rollercoaster ride of sound and lyrical content that explores just how expressive the art of rap and Hip Hop music can truly be. Combining the creative wordplay of K-Saulz with the boom bap inspired production of DiffHop, this album raises the bar and takes the classic Hip Hop sound to some new dizzying heights.

There are three vocal skits that explore the musings of MF DOOM on how an emcee is creative in their work and ways to stay ahead of the crowd. The ten full length tracks take you on a myriad of rides, such as the album's title track THE CRAFT, an atmospheric sound which explores the art of emceeing and crafting vocals from a jumble of words, there is the dark vibe of NIGHTMARE ON SELF STREET that explores a lucid dream state where the lines between a dream and real life are somewhat blurred. CROSSBONE has a dark brooding horrorcore vibe and where Hip Hop meets the intensity of a John Carpenter style sound and, by complete contrast, is the deeply emotive YOU MADE ME a touching track that shows the importance of family and those closest to you.

There is much more besides this, including the single Lost In Space, and with features from Brighty, DJ Jaffa, BMellow, Harkos (US), Dick Dastardly, DW Smith, A Gent Orange and The Honest Poet, this album is sure to fire up your adrenaline and your emotions.
