Conscious Route - Amorphous Shape (Double Release)

Conscious Route pulls no punches with this double-drop release from his forthcoming album, ‘Belterz.’ Kicking off with the slow-rolling ‘Amorphous Shape,’ produced by Glasgow’s Mackenzie, the track sees Conscious Route’s delivery perfectly balanced with those of Glasgow-based hip-hop stalwart, Empress, whose double-time flow, ferocious punchlines and conscious wordplay demonstrate why she has maintained her position on the scene.

The second track, ‘Day Ones’ opens with some deft cuts courtesy of JabbathaKut as Mackenzie brings some classic-sounding hip-hop production to bear. Mackenzie also steps away from beat-making duty and joins Conscious Route on the mic alongside fellow Scottish rap veterans One OZ and Mistah Bohze (II Tone Committee), as they all bring their A-games over the head-nodding beat.
