"'One Thing' tells the story of deciphering someone's true intentions," KiLLOWEN explains about the essence of the song. "There are moments in the song where I recognize my own flaws and problems and use them to validate my feelings towards that person. For example, 'hear me out for a sec, I'm two drinks down getting rowdy again,' or 'I can barely stand up, but I'll speak my truth, and that's the difference between me and you.'"
