Danny Ray drops his much awaited debut EP “A Future Doesn’t Exist”.

West London based, singer, songwriter and producer Danny Ray enjoys long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners and and writing songs about rejection, bad habits and his primary school teacher. With a background of inspiration ranging from Pixies to Plan B to Prince, Ray can’t help but write and produce songs you want to move to.

Part of Danny’s musical charm is the storytelling nature of his lyrics, with every song having a detailed narrative to sink your ears into. With releases such as “Strawberry Kisses”, amassing over 5 million views across Instagram Reels and TikTok, this is a funk driven ode to the ‘Ick’ phenomenon.

Anything For Jennifer”, a dynamic and energetic accolade to an innocent celebrity crush that gets a bit out of hand. “Lie” taking us on a journey of deceit, toxicity and a relationship on the edge of destruction. “Money Back” hits us with a relatable bang, a track which takes us back to our own bad first-date experiences. Next comes “I Regret Everything”, an Upbeat Melodious Memoir on the parachute-less leap for love that ended with a thud that could’ve shaken the emotional Richter scale. And “Tony” an exclusive POV into Danny’s first ever crush (on his primary school teacher at age 6).

The singles have had incredible placements on Spotify, being listed on playlists such as, New Music Friday UK, France and Finland, Our Generation, It’s a Bop and More. Although hard to pin a genre on Ray, his songs tend to appeal to the masses, drawing elements from your favourite parts of Pop, Funk and Hip-Hop. His upcoming EP ‘A Future Doesn’t Exist’ is packed full of funky bass lines and catchy choruses.
