Kitty Liv - Sweet Dreams (Official Video)

Sweet Dreams” is the debut single released on Sunday Best Recordings from Kitty Liv, better known as one third of the successful and acclaimed family band, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis. The release follows an extensive period of touring with Guy Chambers, Beans on Toast and Joe Webb, which included a live session for Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 2.

The track is a laid-back soulful number, with a confident and tender vocal on a song about using intimacy as a distraction from life’s anxieties. “Sweet Dreams” seamlessly blends nostalgia of the past with a modern, fresh approach and acts as the perfect introduction to Kitty’s solo work and her new partnership with Sunday Best. Co-produced with her brother and analogue guru Lewis Durham, “Sweet Dreams” was recorded live on sparkling analogue equipment at KDL’s analogue studio at Kentish Town, North London.

Kitty Liv has fired up music lovers around the globe from a very early age, co-fronting family band Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, selling over a quarter of a million records and garnering the support of famous fans including Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and Coldplay. Her solo music marks a shift in career and sound for her as she finds strength in her sound, production, and song writing. With influences ranging from Erykah Badu and D’Angelo to Al Green and Howlin’ Wolf, she has worked to produce a body of personal songs that evoke the primal depths of soul, Gospel, blues and old school rock and roll.
