Whirlwind D ft: Farma G - Flames (Official Video)

‘Flames' is the second single from Whirlwind D's fourth studio album 'Libra', which was featured in Bandcamp's Top Ten albums of September 2023 and has received play from the likes of Craig Charles (BBC6 Music) and The Allergies. Flames sees Whirlwind D team up with Farma G of Taskforce and his long time partner Specifik to craft a stark, poignant social commentary on the state of the world today.

Whirlwind D has always included social commentary within his work, from the musings of 'Gain My Perspective' on 'Nomansland' to the metaphors for hate and the rise of the far right on 'Creature', taken from his third album. 'Flames' feels like a culmination of this state of mind, the moment when the unthinkable finally happened. Much like previous singles, 'Lucky Number' featuring Lewis Parker and 'When It's Fast', 'Flames' looks set to be another sure shot from the brilliant 'Libra'.
