Jed Holland - No More Talking (EP)

Jed Holland, a maestro of musical storytelling, returns with his new EP, "No More Talking", a testament to his evolution as a songwriter.

"Shelter", the lead single, showcases Jed's lyrical prowess, weaving emotive neo-soul elements into a tapestry of delicate intricacy. Each track from the EP, reveals his versatility, from the catchy melodies of "Everythings Changed" to the soulful feels of "Shelter." Jed Holland's songwriting prowess stands as a beacon in the intricate landscape of his musical expression.

Growing up in the musical embrace of folk influences like Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, Jed's journey unfolds in delicate strokes. From the age of 13, he crafted his unique style, honing his songwriting skills while contributing to an indie-folk band that signed a record deal at 16. His experiences as a session player for notable artists further enriched his musical palette.

Jed says, ''"A lot has held me back from releasing my own songs but one of the main hurdles has been the personal battles I've experienced with my mental health and my (often counterproductive) perfectionist approach to everything. The self doubt I carry often finds a way of manifesting itself into whatever I create which makes sharing what I do feel like a far scarier task than it should be. This first EP touches on some of these themes, such as in my first single, Shelter, which was inspired by isolation and reclusiveness.
