Drae Synes - Can't Hack It (Single)

Emerging music artist Drae Synes, hailing from Italy and Lewisham, South East London, brings a unique 90's Hip Hop sound with a modern twist to the table. Inspired by a diverse range of music, his distinct style not only sets him apart in the saturated industry but also reflects his message of being an underdog and staying true to oneself.

On 15th December 2023, Drae Synes released his latest single 'Can't Hack It'. The likes of Little Simz, Nas and J.Cole served as major inspirations for the song. Drae's fierce and braggadocious lyrics take the centre stage against the backdrop of African drum percussions, harmonies, bass, and trumpets.

Speaking of the track, Drae states "It is a song about the scene not being ready for what's about to come with Drae Synes, everything about me is so different from your average artist, hence the words 'Can't hack it’. I go against the grain and question the authenticity of most artists in the Hip Hop scene, the ones that only rap about one subject matter for commercial success. My goal is to be the voice to bring back authenticity in Hip Hop, the scene needs that now more than ever."
