Afroham - Quantum Love (EP)

Rising Dutch producer Afroham releases his debut EP Quantum Love on Melting Pot Music. The 26-year-old musician from Rotterdam is fusing neo-soul, lofi and hip-hop in his very own style and fashion. On three vocal and two instrumental joints Afroham (and a close group of musical friends) addresseslove and rejection in the digital age, topics Millennials and Gen Z are oh so familiar with. Appropriately, Afroham and singer GINGE (who appears on two songs) first met on Tinder and started dating. But instead of becoming a couple they ended up writing songs together.

Further guests on Quantum Love include Swiss singer Djemeia (best known for her work with Melodiesinfonie and Slum Village) and producers/musicians cocabona, Ian EwingBirocratic and Misha (all household names on the international beat & lofi scene).

The previous singles 'About You', 'Could Be Elsewhere' and 'Online' enjoyed radio support from Radio Fritz (GER) and Soho Radio (UK) and have been featured in playlists like 'Pollen', 'Jazz Vibes', 'lofi beats' (Spotify) and 'fem:power' (WDR Cosmo).

Born Nathan Avraham, Afroham's artist name is a playful take on his surname and his hairdo. His superpowers also include creating visual art via video and 3d animation (despite being colourblind). Afroham has directed and animated a full-length movie (WATCH) that accompanies the release of the EP. The artwork for all four releases comes from Parisian artist MC Blue Matter who in turn was inspired by the “Quantum Love” film when he worked on the covers.
