North West London Drill artist Chinx (OS) is gearing up to release his debut mixtape ‘One Sided Story’.

Chinx (OS) has only been releasing music for the past year, but already has made a name for himself within the music industry going viral with his debut release ‘Secrets Not Safe’, which went on to be taken down by the Met police and controversially overruled by META, marking the second time in history that has happened.

Not letting this deter him, Chinx has been consistently releasing since, including another viral hit ‘Fish O Filet’ as well as freestyles on Kenny Allstars Mad About Bars and Fumez The Engineer’s Plugged In.

Having already released two singles in January - ‘Trap Fashion’ and ‘5am In North West’ as well as the more recent ‘Ain’t Got Time’ ,Chinx (OS) drops ‘Levels’ a dark and 808 heavy production in which he raps over with clarity and ease with his authentic realness about his time in jail.

The 17 track mixtape highlights Chinx’s storytelling, painting a picture of gritty street politics and daily tribulations with versatility over a string of 808-powered productions, there are some softer tongue-in-cheek moments too.

Chinx’s love of music started as a child, where his family would always be playing music around the house, In 2017 he spent four years in prison, two years into his sentence aged 21, every other Friday there would be a Freestyle Friday where a collection of people from different wings and areas would gather to spit bars, his love for music grew and he realised he could make this into a career, when he left prison in 2021, he went straight to the studio.

With some often controversial bars, Chinx (OS) is really not one to shy away, going strength to strength on each release as well as his ever growing fanbase, ‘One Sided Story’ gives a deeper insight into Chinx as an artist and marks a new beginning for his career levelling up in 2023.
