Young Sleep Ft: Black Sinatra - Get That Doe (Official Video) + 10 Questions

Upstate Don Young Sleep has returned with the new video for his track  Get That Doe Ft: Black Sinatra. The official single version also features a verse from Frenchie from Brick Squad and Hussle. Get That Doe features on Young Sleeps forthcoming release Sleep City 3 along with recent single/video Wes Craven which features Dark Lo. We caught up with Young Sleep who gave us his take on our infamous 10 Questions feature.

1. So tell me, how did it all begin? What sparked your love for music?

I’ve always loved music since I can remember. Michael Jackson, getting 2Pac tapes at 7-8 but when I heard we are the streets by the lox I really fell in love with music. I started writing my own raps at 12.

2. Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?

Jadakiss, Cam’ron, Drake and Max B. Kiss the main person I want to work with in the future.

3. What projects do you have coming up and can you give us any info on them?

SC3 (Sleep City 3)  sometime in the summer.

4. How would you describe your sound?

Top tier lyricism. Slick talk mixed with pain.

5. What's your proudest moment to date so far as an artist?

Opening for The Lox in front of 3,000 people . My brother put me onto them that’s why it was so special.

6. Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to play the mad game of music?

 Network and build relationships, work hard, be consistent, put your own money up.

7. Are there any artists on your radar right now that we should check out?

There’s a lot of new dope artists, I would say lookout for people coming from the whole upstate.

8. What albums are on heavy rotation on your Spotify playlist currently?

Snowfall, Tana Talk 4, A Gangster And A Gentlemen.

9. What do you like to do when you're not making music?

Spend time with my kids, play Basketball, Design hats and shirts.

10. Name Three things you can't live without when in the studio?

I don’t really need anything in the studio, A beat, notebook, no distractions.
