Tofa ft: Rooxie - Anxiety (Single)

Tofa is back with a heartfelt new collaborative single entitled “Anxiety.” The track finds the perfect blend between emotional and infectious, with an irresistible alt-pop exterior and hard-hitting interior. The track features a vibrant melting pot of grooving drums, driving bass lines and understated lead guitar lines. Tofa’s vocals are vibrant, thrashing through the mix, coming soaked in pop sensibilities. His vocal line also works hand in glove alongside the talented Rooxie who adds another dimension to the track. The track merges alt-pop sensibilities with R&B foundations, creating a unique and signature sound.

Speaking about the track, he says: “I wrote this record, referring to a rough time in my life, from the glance you have at the song/lyrics, you’ll think I’m talking about a partner or past partner, but the truth is it’s all referring to anxiety, hence the name of the song. You really have to think perspectively about it but you will understand.”

Tofa is a dynamic 20-year-old musician hailing from Brisbane, Australia with roots in the UK. Tofa's journey began as a child playing multiple instruments, with the drums being a major influence. In high school, Tofa discovered a passion for freestyling raps and eventually turned it into writing and recording songs. Today, Tofa's versatility is showcased through his diverse musical style which has evolved from hip hop to pop, R&B and indie music. In 2023, Tofa is embarking on a 52-song project with the aim of making a positive impact on listeners through his music. Despite briefly facing challenges in his career, Tofa remains driven by the desire to connect and express himself through his art.
