KITSCHKRIEG ft: ARZ - BABY (Official Video)

Berlin production trio KITSCHKRIEG join North-East London rapper ARZ on their new single ‘BABY’ out via SoulForce Records.

Receiving its first play on DJ Target’s BBC 1xtra show, ‘BABY’ marks KITSCHKRIEG’s first UK collaboration and embodies Garage's best elements layered with an iconic 90s Dancehall sample and steel drums. Not one to shy away from showing his emotions, 19-year-old ARZ injects ‘BABY’ with his romantic bars and infectious melodies, creating the perfect summer anthem.

Since meeting in 2014 through a flatshare, the trio of producers Fiji Kris, Fizzle and the elusive photographer/ art director °awhodat° have redefined how Germany sounds, looks and feels. They embody minimalism through their engineering, visuals, photography, and artwork and draw influences from their hometown's electronic music scene and Soundsystem culture. With more than a billion streams to their name, they are known for their sophisticated sonics, contrast-heavy black-and-white imagery and popular streetwear brand. Over the years, KITSCHKRIEG have worked with various artists, including global techno stalwarts Modeselektor and the Jamaican dancehall icon Vybz Kartel. The band released their critically acclaimed debut album in 2020, which boasts two No.1 singles in their native.

ARZ burst onto the UK scene in 2020 with his debut project ‘Love Letters’, including hit singles ‘Alone With You’ and ‘No Games’. Born in Hackney to English and Jamaican parents, he spent his formative years in North London and started writing bars at 13. ARZ has put vulnerability at the core of his music, giving him space to express his feelings over Trap tinged production and warm R&B melodies. His fans include BBC R1’s Clara Amfo and Scott Mills, and he continues to prove why he’s the one to watch with everything he puts his name to. ‘BABY’ is just a taste of what KITSCHKRIEG have on the hard drive for 2023 with a stream of A-List collabs locked and ready to go.
