PREMIERE: Poshbwoy ft: Reece West & Bugsy Gmb - Keyboard Warrior (Official Video) + 10 Questions

Enfield Rapper Poshbwoy drops his next much anticipated blockbuster “Grime” track entitled “Keyboard Warrior”.

He’s back with a vengeance in full force for 2023 much to the delight of his fans, turning up the tempo on the British rap front, together with “Grime Phenomenon” Reece West and Bugsy GMB. The track has been released independently through Cheek Of It Records and is available on all digital platforms with the single release party taking place on Saturday 20th May 2023 on the popular Summer of Love Boat party that leaves Westminster bridge.

Poshbwoy sat down with Wordplay Magazine to answer our infamous 10 Questions:

1. So tell me, how did it all begin? What sparked your love for music?

I've always been a fan of music since I was a child, but it took 1 trip to Australia to make me want to take up music as a profession. I was very lucky to meet my musical idols such as 50 Cent, G-Unit, D12, and Kanye West while they were on tour in Oz. I saw how they lived, party  and performed, doing what they love with no stress like a 9-5 job gives you. I knew at that point in my life, I wanted to turn my passion for music into a job I actually love.

2. Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?

Well a lot of musicians that inspired me to do music are on the older side now and not current so i probably won't work with them in the future. On the flip side there's some younger artists who have shaped the industry, and definitely influenced the sound in the last few years who I've become a fan of such as Dave, and it would be an absolute pleasure to work with him in the future.

3. What projects do you have coming up and can you give us any info on them?

My new single Keyboard Warrior Ft Reece West & Bugsy Gmb will be available on digital platforms 28th April, which is the first single from the up and coming EP Caviar Music 3, which will be out at the end of summer.

4. How would you describe your sound?

Thats a tricky one lol as i don't want to pigeonhole myself to 1 sound, I would say one of my selling points is that i can rap on most genres of different sounds. I normally go with what's current at the present or I like to bring back nostalgia with older tracks that I used to love   growing up and remix the sound to fit with the times.

5. What's your proudest moment to date so far as an artist?

I've had a couple really, but the achievement that mad me the most proud was hitting a quarter of a million streams in 2022 without a manger & major label backing.

6. Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to play the mad game of music?

Yes, don't listen to people that don't believe in your craft, and never give up! the main thing is to believe in yourself and don't treat success as a dream, any milestone should be treated as a goal because you can achieve anything in life if you put your mind to it.

7. Are there any artists on your radar right now that we should check out?

Yes Reece West he's a feature on my latest single Keyboard Warrior, and i honestly think he will take grime music to a new dimension.

8. What albums are on heavy rotation on your Spotify playlist currently?

Tbh i've not been listening to a lot of albums lately on Spotify, i've been more on the playlists which i like a lot because Spotify has created different playlists for different moods, however i will be checking what new albums are out very soon.

9. What do you like to do when you're not making music?

When i'm not making music i'm in the gym, watching football, and having nice days out with my family which normally consists of running after my 3 year old son lol.

10. Name Three things you can't live without when in the studio?

Alcohol, snacks and good vibes.
