Undeniably one of the most talked about names in the UK rising rap scene right now. At 22 years old, SONGER has collaborated with one of grimes greatest, D Double E, had his music praised across national radio and press, and is set to soon be playing his biggest hometown stage at Reading Festival. Showing no signs of slowing down, SONGER releases his album “SKALA”.

The “SKALA” album lands with firm foundations laid by singles “Love Is A Lottery”, “4:59” ft D Double E, and most recently released “Golden (Soul Food)”. Collectively the tracks have received extensive praise across the media, with support from BBC Radio 1, 1xtra’s DJ Target & Sian Anderson, NME, Evening Standard, The Independent, GRM Daily, Mixtape Madness, Linkup TV, Wonderland Magazine, DMY and New Wave Magazine. SONGER was also announced as part of TikTok’s ‘Next Gen’ list, a spotlight of the most exciting, emerging UK rap artists on the platform.

“SKALA” is a continuation of SONGER’s story so far. Up until this point, SONGER has achieved a timeline of incredible feats single-handedly. To date, he has accumulated just shy of 20 million views on one of the most explosive Bl@ckbox Freestyles, sold-out his debut UK headline tour in minutes (with an extra date at London’s Omeara added due to demand), and built up a cult-like fanbase of die- hard SONGER fans from the shed in his parents garden, Reading. No label, no booking agent, no strategy, just credit due to SONGER’s authentic artistry.

At this point in SONGER’s story, he is ready to turn over a new leaf with the album, refresh his perspective on life and learn to enjoy the simplicities it brings – just as his dog Skala would “I’ve never seen my dog waste a day of her life”.
