Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L - Buy Me Some Time (Album)

Having previously received support from the likes of Wonderland, EARMILK, Wordplay Magazine and more, “Buy Me Some Time” is an immersive new album from Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L.

The album blends both vulnerability and infectiousness together, presenting itself as a cocktail of rap, trap and pop, with elements blurring and merging together perfectly. Featuring single “GoGo Kart,” the album presents Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L’s unique and infectious sound, whilst also taking the audience on an emotional journey with his heartwarming lyrics.

Speaking about the album, he says: “Buy Me Some Time is what happens when a fever dream meets Wreck-it-Ralph/ Sonic the hedgehog. Heavily inspired by nascar and taking inspiration from your favorite video racing games. It’s loud, it’s in your face, it’s rage, it’s honest.

A first person point of view project where you just get thrown into a universe and must learn on your feet if you want to make it out. Try keeping up with the speed of a scary world as you must learn how to trust yourself in order to navigate on the fly.  Follow the emotion, follow the tugs and the pulls, even if you can’t see what’s next. After all, it’s one big full circle.”

Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L’s music feels like you’re driving really fast without airbags, which is something he can relate to. Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L’s first passion was actually drag racing, however, an unfortunate set of circumstances meant that he was involved in a drag racing accident that effectively ended his career. Whilst recovering, he found himself questioning his path and became intensely focused on his music, spending hours upon hours in the studio. In turn, he’s managed to craft his own unique sound which is a melting pot of different genres and influences.
