Killer Mike has shared two new videos, one for the previously released single Don’t Let The Devil, and another for new track, Motherless.

The two part short film is a tribute to the rapper’s late mother.  “These aren’t meant to be sad videos or eulogies,” explains Mike.  “This is a celebration of a bad ass Black girl from the westside of Atlanta.  She’s been affectionately called OG Mama Niecy by the many people she helped stay on their path.”

Don’t Let The Devil is based on a treatment by El-P, Mike’s partner in Run The Jewels, and directed by Davi Peña, whilst Motherless is directed by Shane Smith.

Both singles are taken from Mike's forthcoming album, Michael, out 16th June.  His first solo LP since 2012’s R.A.P. Music, the autobiographical record is executive produced by No I.D. and Killer Mike, and draws on Mike's experiences growing up in Atlanta, selling drugs as a teenager, the death of his mother and finding salvation in music.
