Latir, a soulful artist hailing from London, has graced our ears with his debut EP, "Daydreams & Desires”. Fusing dreamy jazz, hip hop-inspired drums and heartwarming vocals, the project showcases an impressive body of work, taking us through being lost in a daydream. Electric piano with nostalgic harmonies are highlighted throughout in the opening track, “The Rabbit Hole” and dreamy arpeggiated electric guitar melodies in tracks such as “Slow Dance (always & forever)” and “Daydreams And Desires”.

“Slow Dance (always & forever)”, the lead single takes us through a nostalgic time warp with Latir’s longing vocals and guitar rhythms reminiscent of 60’s ballads. Another romantic single from the artist with a touch of melancholy, cementing an overall dreamy feel to the project.

Latir speaks on his project, “I’ve always been a dreamer, someone who would rather sit on hills writing poetry about the things Idesire whilst watching sunset... I’ve always romanticised things before criticising them, and have always tried to see beauty in everything, even in darker times.

My project ‘Daydreams & Desires’ meets self assessment and self discovery with all the things I love music... From moments found slow dancing or speeding down a neon flooded highway with a loved one... To night lit, red painted drunken escapades with London as the backdrop for all my affairs... Tothe knowing that I've come a long way in my creative journey yet my canvas is still empty... The innocence in desire invoked through my own somewhat poetic experiences.”
