Finn Foxell - TYSON (Official Video)

West-London musician Finn Foxell returns with his first solo release of the year ‘TYSON’ produced by Clipz (AKA Redlight). Fusing the unlikely genres of Rap, D&B and Punk, Finn taps into the uncompromising emotions of teenage angst and discontentment, creating a lively summer anthem. Finn effortlessly reflects the psyche of his nonconforming generation, with ‘TYSON’ receiving an enormous reaction when teased live and celebrated with open arms by genre-less music lovers from all tribes.

Music has always been Finn’s love language, and the Shepherd's Bush native has been surrounded by it as early as he can remember. Coming from a musical family, Finn’s dad is a songwriter, his brother was heavily involved in the Grime scene, and his mum was a performer, so he has never known anything different. Finn grew up on the likes of The Clash and Sex Pistols as well as Giggs and The Streets, and over the past few years, has perfectly married the best of both influences. Still, only 24 years old Finn is channelling his lived experiences, which have transpired into a more Punky sound. Friends and family have always been at the heart of everything Finn does, and he is also a proud member of Elevation Mediation (P-Rallel, Lord Apex, Xav and Louis Culture), one of London’s most pioneering collectives.

2022 was an important year for Finn having experimented with his sound through fearless singles such as 'Leaders' and 'What’s Your Poison?', he found his newfound sweet spot. The new chapter resulted in Ticketmaster, Notion, and BBC R1’s Clara Amfo making him a Ones To Watch and huge cosigns from COLORS, The Face, BBC R1 Jack Saunders to name a few. Only looking ahead, Finn has the rest of 2023 stacked and ready to go and no better way to experience his music than at his debut Glastonbury performance on Saturday, 24th June, from 3:15-4:00 pm on the Lonely Hearts Club - Silver Hayes stage.
