Sianybby - I Lost My Baby Pink CD Player (EP)

I Lost My Baby Pink CD Player’ is the new EP from Sianybby and Benjy Stobart. The pair come together to make Sianybby’s musical identity, noted as being a hyper distorted caricature of the real person and a figure of the ‘brat pop’ genre. Sianybby’s music is influenced by both Benjy and Sian’s musical influences, ranging between the likes of Ashnikko, Kaytranada, Billie Eilish and Young Thug.

Sianybby is an emerging artist whose music blends Hip Hop and DnB beats with infectious R&B melodies, resulting in an instantly recognisable sound. With the debut EP, 'I Lost My Baby Pink CD Player,' released on April 28th and has already garnered significant attention, accumulating over 71K streams in just four weeks.

At the Sold out EP launch held at Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, Sianybby captivated a growing legion of fans with the emotionally rich and irresistibly danceable melodies. Siany’s music resonates deeply and is poised to connect with audiences from around the world. Sianybby's ultimate goal is to create timeless pop anthems that will endure the test of the time, whilst also paying homage to the nostalgia of the late 90s.

Building on the success of the debut single, Sianybby has since released three additional singles, each contributing to the anticipation surrounding the release of the debut EP. With an impressive track record of live performances, Siân has graced renowned venues such as The Groucho Club, Map Café, and HUG Festival at This Is Faces. Notable appearances also include performances at Notting Hill Carnival and The Old Blue Last. Sianybby has more exciting shows on the horizon, promising an ever-growing list of venues and festivals where their electrifying music will take centre stage.

The EP itself serves as a poignant reflection on the theme of heartbreak. Sianybby takes listeners on a journey through the experiences of first love and heartbreak, which permeates every track on the EP. The raw emotions and personal storytelling embedded within the music make for a captivating and relatable listening experience. ‘When I’m seeing you’ is a self professed summer anthem, encapsulating a young and fun essence. ‘Fucking and fighting’ is a stripped back, acoustic guitar track that hones in on and focuses on the lyrics, creating a sense of tension and loss. ‘Best that I could’ follows suit with the theme of heartbreak at the forefront, accompanied by a minimal instrumental. The last track ‘You’ll miss me someday’ reflects on a relationship in retrospect and holds a feeling of hope, moving through heartache and appearing stronger on the other side.

With the unique blend of genre-bending sounds, Sianybby is poised to leave an indelible mark on the music scene. Her infectious melodies, coupled with Benjy’s dedication to creating resonant and compelling music, position them as a rising force to be reckoned with. As Sianybby continues to captivate audiences and share her and Benjy’s musical journey, the impact is sure to reverberate far and wide, touching hearts and inspiring countless listeners along the way.
