Rory - I Thought It'd Be Different (Album)

Having gained millions of listeners as co-host of first The Joe Budden Podcast and now New Rory & MAL, Rory is set to make strides of his own in the music industry with the reveal of his debut album, 'I Thought It'd Be Different', out now. Co-produced by Rory, the album features a collection of artists he hand selected, resulting in a project bordering R&B and hip hop perfect for late nights and long drives.

Rory, formerly of the Joe Budden Podcast, is now the co-host of one of the most popular podcasts in the world, New Rory & MAL, with millions of listeners per month. Rory's involvement with the management of Emotional Oranges made the partnership with Avant Garden a natural fit. After teasing on his platforms over the past few months, Rory released his hotly anticipated debut single, "I WANT YOU BUT YOU'LL NEVER KNOW..." A stunning alt-soul cut featuring brilliant contributions from DRAM and Alex Isley, before connecting with artists such as Jay Electronica, Ari Lennox and more on subsequent singles taken from an album crafted over the past 3 years. Hand selecting and helping write and co-produce alongside artists that he's supported over the past years, the project serves as a full circle moment.
