LULU - Save Me (Official Video)

Burgeoning artist LULU. shares her evocative debut single, “Save Me”, released via AMF Records (Greentea Peng, Loyle Carner, Olivia Dean).

“Save Me” provides a perfect entry point into the rising singer and songwriter’s world. Produced by Dom Valentino, the single is bathed in warmth, accentuated by distant saxophone melodies and a guiding bassline, whilst synthesiser’s flourish across the minimalist, dubbed out instrumental beat, all anchored by LULU.’s deep,  soul searching lyricism.

"’Save Me' is a deeply introspective song that I wrote to explore the depths of brokenness and the longing for divine intervention. The idea of the hook came from my quiet times with God; I would often ask God to save me from myself, hence the inspiration for the title. The song encapsulates my journey of self-discovery and coming to the realisation that my low-self esteem was fueled by the people I allowed to have such a significant voice in my mind, and escaping from this was paramount to my survival” - LULU.

The accompanying video, directed by Joe Howat, is imbued with hazy warmth and monochromatic charm. Viewers accompany LULU. on an escapade through the sun-drenched streets of London and expansive church halls.
