Leicester’s Narissha shares her latest single ‘Oh No (Leng)’ out now on all platforms. The track is taken from her forthcoming debut EP ‘APATHY’ set for release end-September.

The follow up to the well received ‘Cat’s Cradle’, ‘Oh No! (Leng)’ is another super smooth soulful offering with the artist's unmistakable poetic lyricism. With an innate ability to bring the listener in with her relatable and honest musings, the track is an insight into the mind of a young artist finding her feet in life. Narissha adds, “It's the feeling of being stuck with making a mistake, whether that’s a relationship or a friendship. When the fog clears you feel silly for letting it affect you that way.” This is honest, emotive music that will draw you in and ensure you’re here to stay.

The tracks are taken from the 5-track debut EP ‘APATHY’, exploring themes of vulnerability and fear of the unknown, made in collaboration with the producer Earl Saga (Loyle Carner, Jgrrey). Reliving experiences from the past, Narissha turned to old diaries from her younger years, navigating often difficult feelings to create this body of work. By facing her fears and pouring her heart into the writing and recording process, she used this as a cathartic tool to grow and push the boundaries of her emotions as she reaches into the depths on a soul searching voyage.

Narissha began her creative journey in the arts whilst studying Fine Art and Visual communication at De Montfort University in her home town of Leicester. Self-releasing her first single at just 20 years old, in under a year, the artist had been named as an ‘Artist to Watch’ after a Boiler Room and Adidas hosted recording session at the prestigious Abbey Road studios. Heavily influenced by hip-hop, soul, indie and r&b, as well as artists like Slowthai, Beabadoobee and Berwyn: Narissha is one to watch.
