‘All I Need’ is, essentially, a good old fashioned love song. It’s got the typical trap hi-hat and a pretty good singing attempt by Fuad (I’m not being rude, not many rappers can hold a tune and he doesn’t use autotune so props for that!). His voice sounds sincere and vulnerable. But then comes the surprise! I did a double take...is it? Could it be? Is that a Blink182 style interlude? It certainly is! Bane Haven seamlessly steps in with mid 2000’s vocals and harmonies. I know that mixing rock and rap is nothing new but for some reason I just didn’t expect it in this context. Anyway, it’s a collaboration that, in my opinion, really works and helps to set the song apart from the competition. It’s poppy, it’s retro and it’s really quite sweet. So, if you’re a rapper or a rocker and you need a song to blast outside your true love’s window until her Dad comes out and chases you off, this is the song for you!
