Grime linchpin Manga Saint Hilare releases new single ‘Kill Sound’ featuring Frisco and MoreNight via MNRK UK. Wasting little time after his recent collaborative EP ‘Save Yourself’ with Blay Vision, Manga is joined by fellow Grime-royalty, Frisco for a fiery track that captures an effortless trade-off across an uptempo MoreNight production. Earlier this year, Manga completed a UK tour that concluded with a London headline in which he brought out numerous special guests and performed fan-favourites from his ‘Run For Your Life’ album, which contributed to his MOBO Nomination for Best Grime Act. Ahead of the single, he announced a new creative venture co-presenting on BBC 1Xtra for long-term friend Sian Anderson’s weekend show to bring his much loved-persona onto the airwaves.

"They say Grime artists don’t link up enough, So we thought we’d show them how it’s done. Don’t worry, everything is under control.”

Since his most recent Nomination for Best Grime Act in November of last year, it’s safe to say Manga Saint Hilare’s life has been busy. Between a UK tour, a joint project with Blay Vision, a radio presenter role, and other top-secret endeavors, he became a father as he entered a new phase of his life. Despite the many moving components, it’s business as usual for Manga who is focused on the mission to elevate creatively and cement his reputation in the tastemaker realms. Having broke onto the scene in 2004 with Roll Deep, he sharpened his tools alongside Wiley and DJ Target before a solo re-emergence in the early 2010’s. Manga’s artistry ignores all boundaries and naturally reflects his capability to have direct conversations with his listeners through his versatile combination of humor, purpose, and tribulations. Manga’s taste is reflected in his music, artwork, and merch that all circle back to his quality-over-quantity approach to his craft that has helped him connect with fans from all corners of the world.

A long-standing member of Boy Better Know, Frisco has been a main player in Grime since breaking onto the scene. A potent verse on ‘Kill Sound’ arrives just a day before his headline show at Hootananny, Brixton, alongside Reek0, Skeptic, Queenie and more. Last month, Manga took to Prague for GRIME MC to perform alongside additional front runners to eradicate the ongoing argument if Grime is dead?.

With no sign of slowing up for the rest of the year, Manga looks to serve new music in sync with external projects whilst throwing himself in family duties.
