Killer Mike has released new single, Maynard Vignette, and announced the deluxe version of his Michael album.

Partly inspired by Atlanta’s first black mayor, Maynard Jackson, the single unites some of the city's best vocalists and features T.I., J.I.D. and Jacquees.

Killer Mike's Michael Deluxe - the new expanded version of his Michael album - will be released on 2x LP, CD and digital next Friday, 15th September.  The 18-track release includes four additional tracks from the Michael recording sessions: Yes, Maynard Vignette, Get Some Money and, on the digital version only, Act Up featuring Young Nudy.

“Michael was originally longer and now we’re starting to release the rest of it,” states Mike.  “These songs are some of my favourites from the album sessions, but we needed more time to get them the way we imagined them.  We finished three of them in time to make the vinyl and one more for the digital.”

The news comes ahead of Mike's intimate, sold out headline show at London's Lafayette on 31st October; his first solo UK show in 11 years.  Mike will be joined on the night by The Midnight Revival choir.

Killer Mike's Michael is the rapper's origin story; an autobiographical, highly-personal record drawing on his experiences growing up in Atlanta, selling drugs as a teenager, the death of his mother and finding salvation in music.  Originally released in June, the record features Andre 3000, Young Thug, Future, El-P and others, and is executive produced by No I.D. (Jay-Z, Kanye West) and Killer Mike.
