Glasgow-based songwriter, rapper and MC Red King, has just released his latest single, ’Whistle’; a vibey UKG track featuring Scottish grime veteran Chrissy Grimez.

An accomplished artist, with a penchant for collaborating, Red King has supported acts like Talib Kweli, Grandmaster Flash, Ugly Duckling, Mic Righteous, Benny Banks, Dead Players and enjoyed airplay and glowing reviews courtesy of Scotland On Sunday, BBC The Social, WAVVY music, Up2Stndrd, Amazing Radio.

‘Whistle’ is taken from his forthcoming EP, For the Night and features producers from as far afield as Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia and France. The project is mixed and mastered by Rapture 4D and will be dropping October 6th, with the launch party at Le Freak Records, Dundee October 14th.

The Dundonian artist has a very busy release schedule over the next few months, including the remainder of his For the Night EP, releases with long-term collaborator and friend Rapture 4D (the pair are also in the process of setting up a social enterprise / studio and record label), singles with producer Supermann on da Beat, and a three-track EP and two videos with Lynx.
