With ANNIKA LISIA’s upcoming debut album ROYGBIV, the artist and singer-songwriter invites you to her most personal and authentic journey. Her voice, poetic lyrics combined with Soul and R&B sound take you to an intimate space. As a reflection of many other people, the singer-songwriter writes about topics such as self (love), spirituality, relationships, freedom and growth.

ANNIKA LISIA writes, composes and co-produces all of her work. In cooperation with musician and producer David Thornton she has created her upcoming debut album. ROYGBIV is drawn from the colour code - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet - representing ANNIKA LISIA in all her raw versality. The full album is composed of 9 tracks - from moody, calm melodies to uptempo beats, integrating original field recordings from her daily life. The original sounds in the intro and outro are both taken by the artist’s phone - crickets in the garden representing the heritage of sound and recordings from running and arriving by the water, represent healing and rebirth.

The newcomer landed on German TV and European wide radios and playlists i.e. Absolut Radio, Radio Eins, Bayern 3, Bayern 2, Puls Radio, Radio Eins, Byte FM, Radio Essen, Big FM and Radio Gong. Based in Germany she already has a long list of national and international live gigs i.e. at Feierwerk and Milla in Munich, Porgy & Bess Vienna, Powerhaus London or Adults Only in Los Angeles with other gigs in Stuttgart, Augsburg, Essen and Dortmund. ANNIKA LISIA feels at home in Soul, R&B & Pop - artists like Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, Sade or Lauryn can be named as her main influences. She started playing the piano at the age of 6, which is still a central building block in her songwriting. The passion for the performing arts has shaped her since her childhood in dancing, singing and acting. In 2013 ANNIKA LISIA spends several months at the Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. In 2017, a vocal training follows at the renowned Music- and Arts University in Vienna (MUK).
