Bel Cobain - Pressure To Exist (Single)

Singer-songwriter Bel Cobain returns with her new single ‘Pressure To Exist’ out now via BB3. Created with Naples-born producer Danny Diado, the production is a fusion of Jazzy elements, Bel’s lilting voice her and powerful lyrics. ‘Pressure To Exist’ sees Bel question life complexities, commenting on the societal and existential pressures we battle with. Written in one sitting, Bel tries to make sense of what we have lost and speaks openly about how we are all just navigating life one step at a time. Bel’s clever use of contrasting lyrics, such as “is this a breakthrough or a breakdown?” and “i’m a danger to my own self, but they say that im the answer” effortlessly capture the internal push and pull we can all experience at times.

An air of mystique has always surrounded Bel, but she is her true, most content and confident when performing on stage. Bel broke onto the scene in 2019 with ‘Introverted Stoner’ and has performed at Love Saves The Day, Love Supreme, Jazz Cafe, Roundhouse, and many more since. Growing up in London, she decided recently to reside outside the capital near the sea to escape the chaos of the city she was born in. Bel draws inspiration from some greats, including Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Angie Stone, Fela Kuti and Jill Scott, and cuts through the noise with her radical thinking and music style.

Eager to get her music out into the world, Bel is working on her new project and is planning a live performance before the end of the year. Bel's music is the perfect antidote for our over-complicated world, and her desire to sing and share her music is refreshing and unlike any other.
