KitschKrieg ft: SL + Midas the Jagaban - Rainfall (Official Video)
Berlin electronic band KitschKrieg enlist Croyden Drill artist SL and British-Nigerian Afrofusion singer Midas the Jagaban for the ‘Rainfall’ video. Taken from their 2nd album, ‘German Engineering 1’, the trio have been making waves in their home country, topping the charts and racking up a billion streams. They are now releasing the video for ‘Rainfall’, which combines two of the UK’s finest talents, whose opposing sounds blend effortlessly. SL is a rapper who rose to prominence at a young age, and he is renowned for his clear and melodic flow and notable acclaimed collaborations with UK rap stalwarts Knucks and Nines. Hailing from South London, Midas The Jagaban fuses both indigenous Afrobeats and UK Afroswing elements, creating a sound that has captured the attention of listeners across the globe. The ‘Rainfall’ video observes both masked artists in the studio creating magic and vibing to the emotive KitschKrieg beat.
Since meeting in 2014 through a flatshare, the trio of producers Fiji Kris, Fizzle, and the elusive photographer/ art director °awhodat° has redefined how Germany sounds, looks, and feels. They embody minimalism through their engineering, visuals, photography, and artwork and draw influences from their hometown's electronic music scene and Soundsystem culture. With more than a billion streams to their name, they are known for their sophisticated sonics, contrast-heavy black-and-white imagery, and popular streetwear brand. The band released their critically acclaimed debut album in 2020, which boasts two No.1, Platinum award-winning singles, ‘Standard’ and ‘Unterwegs’.
