Midas The Jagaban - Midas Touch Vol 2: Return of the Mask (EP)

Rising British-Nigerian Afro-pop artist Midas The Jagaban releases her new EP “Midas Touch Vol 2: Return of the Mask”.

The EP includes four previously released singles: the dazzling and effervescent first single “More Vibes More Money”, mellow earworm “Louis Vitty” ft. Tayc and the powerful “MELANIN POP”, which is rooted with a hard-hitting techno bassline and layered with African-influenced instrumentation, creating a sound similar to the Amapiano tunes currently dominating the Black British music scene. "MA JO LO" is a hip-shaking hit, featuring guitar riffs and saxophone licks reminiscent of the traditional Afrobeat sound.

Midas’ signature sound fuses the hypnotic energy of Afrobeats with R&B to create an exuberantly confident and uniquely thrilling sound. Rooted in South London with Nigerian heritage, Midas’ diasporan upbringing is etched into her floor-filling party anthems, ingrained with catchy beats and playful lyricism.
