Croquet Club - Slowly (Single)

After a seven-year hiatus, French electronic artist Croquet Club, AKA Jeremy Villecourt, releases his first single ‘Slowly’ from the forthcoming full-length album Fugue in Twilight (25/03/2024) on Anjunadeep's sister label Reflections.

Croquet Club has been at the heart of Anjunadeep for the best part of a decade, after being discovered via Soundcloud and making his debut on the label in 2013 with his double AA side ‘Awake / Cardigan’. Since then, he has gone on to drop a variety of releases including the fan and tastemaker favourite ‘Love Exposure EP’. ‘Summer’ from that EP had its own summer renaissance last year on Tiktok, after going viral and amassing 800k and 1.2 billion views. Croquet Club rounded out the year of 2023 with his ethereal and emotive instrumental track ‘Solace’.

‘Slowly’ is a track that explores the human need for love, solace and intimacy. Jeremy layers his own vocals with hazy keys, nostalgic guitar rhythms and lofi beats, alongside lyrics about solitude and our relationship with ourselves.
