Ky Bailey - Does Life Get Easier? (EP)

Since catching the attention of audiences worldwide with the release of his debut single, ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ in 2023, Ky Bailey has moved from strength to strength with each release as he gears up to unveil his debut EP Does Life Get Easier?

Blending haunting folk guitar lines and emotive lyricism, Ky Bailey returns with his distinctive brand of indie folk-pop. Heavily reverberated melodies are coupled with a stripped-back foundation to bring forth an emotional underbelly. The EP demonstrates Bailey’s intensifying creative ability as he seamlessly enthuses the six-track with an authentic, heartfelt maturity. Does Life Get Easier? also houses the previously released teaser single ‘Imagination’ which has amassed over 100k streams to date.

“Vulnerability, authenticity and peace are the three feelings I embodied on this release. This is by far my most mature release since I started making music, creating a short but incredible timeline of love, loss and life. I took inspiration from Bon Iver whilst wanting to recreate the clean production style of the likes of Taylor Swift and the emotional, laid-back chord progressions of Joji, Gotye and D4vd.”

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ky Bailey is a 23-year-old indie-folk singer-songwriter. Since making his debut as an underground hip-hop artist, he has gradually shifted his focus to incorporate a charged pop-folk aesthetic. With many acclaimed releases under his belt under the guise KB Pablo, he returns with a new moniker and a new approach for his 2024 EP Does Life Get Easier?
