Elmiene - Anyway I Can (EP)

Oxford artist Elmiene releases his new project ‘Anyway I Can’ via Polydor Records/ Def Jam Recordings.

Elmiene shares an original eight track project that includes the mesmerising recent singles ‘Crystal Tears’, ‘Sweetness’ and ‘Light Work’ (currently playlisted on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra), as well as the official release of longtime fan favourite ‘Anyways’.

‘Anyway I Can’ further establishes Elmiene’s ability to amplify his own specific emotional experiences into universally felt soul, R&B and pop songs. Music is Elmiene’s vessel to delve deep into the psyche, vulnerably exposing ongoing exploration of his relational self. ‘Anyway I Can’ is about fighting for love, dedication to mending ruptured romances, celebrating the ease of relationships that work and mourning ones that don’t. The EP boasts production from D’Mile, OzMoses Arketex, Dahi, Yakob, Tom Mann and HYLNU.

With his North American tour wrapping soon, Elmiene continues an unstoppable live run with the announcement of four new UK + European dates in November/December - including a headline London show at The Troxy. Since his emergence, Elmiene has been known for his stunning live performances, and tickets have remained in high demand. He has already sold out an eight date world tour - including London’s Alexandra Palace Theatre. This year he supported SZA for her BST Hyde Park headline show, and released a pair of intimate live EPs including covers of songs by Frank Ocean, Prince and Cleo Sol.

Elmiene has continued to establish his position at the forefront of contemporary soul with each new release. Last year he broke through with a pair of EPs, ‘El-Mean’ and ‘Marking My Time’ and has continued to build momentum with a string of singles, covers and live recordings. He has been embraced by a global community of creatives, collaborating with some of the most sought-after names in music including Stormzy, Syd, Sampha, Lil Silva, D’Mile and Dahi. Elmiene has been hotly tipped by press and tastemakers this year: he received a nomination for the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award and was shortlisted as one  of the artist to watch on the BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2024 poll, VEVO, MTV, Pandora Music, BBC 1Xtra and Ticketmaster.
