Lord Jah-Monte Ogbon is a rapper with a memorable vocal style and endearing, eccentric sense of humour.  He recently inked a deal with Lex Records (Fly Anakin, Chuck Strangers, MF DOOM) and celebrated the milestone by releasing aptly-titled single, I’m Signed to Lex Now I’m Up.

Jah-Monte is back now with new single, So You Really Don't Miss Me?, in which the lovelorn rapper outlines his unsuccessful attempts to rebuild a damaged relationship.  The fun, low-key video for the song was shot in Jah-Monte's hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Both I’m Signed to Lex Now I’m Up and So You Really Don't Miss Me? showcase Jah-Monte's talent for sliding smoothly over beats whilst blurring the line between irony and sincerity.  Not to mention his eye for a great song title.
