The multi-disciplinary artist and creative KANIS marks her return, this time alongside Trinidadian-American artist LATENIGHTJIGGY for their brand new single, “Close Enough”. A melting pot of cultures, this seductive spin is bursting with vibrancy. Enlisting Columbian producer Kénsel Tell Them, “Close Enough” is a celebration of sound connecting with a diverse audience across the world that many will resonate with.

Produced and recorded by Kénsel Tell Them (Becky G, Maikel Delacalle, Alejandra Guzmán, Xantos, and more), “Close Enough” is a  fusion of genres. Creating a fresh “Chopped & Screwed” sound, both KANIS and LATENIGHTJIGGY (co-signs from J Balvin, El Alfa, Sech, etc)  boast a bilingual touch as they effortlessly weave Spanish and English lyricism throughout. Pushing their musical heritage to the forefront of the track, “Close Enough”  attains a seductive yet up-beat feel creating a  hypnotic atmosphere that will leave you wanting more. Paired with a Micahel Russell-directed music video, we follow KANIS and LATENIGHTJIGGY through Little Haiti, Miami through a variety of cinematic shots, capturing the essence of the single seamlessly.

When asked about the single, KANIS explained, “It was really a beautiful experience to record this song in Medelin, Columbia with producer Kensel and when Kensal introduced me to Late Night Jiggy the energy, connection and vision just came together. I love chopped and screwed music, and I felt that the fusion of it on this song really brought a unique touch to the song. I haven’t heard much Spanish music with that Chopped and screwed vibe. Speaking 4 languages it’s always awesome when I can utilise the opportunity to connect with more people and this song made me feel like making more music in Spanish, so I'm Definitely looking to collaborate with more Latin artists in the near future.”

LATENIGHTJIGGY added, “This song is fire! And making the video was fun. This the second Haitian artist I have been lucky to work with and in the process I have learned so much about the culture and music influences. I am inspired to learn more.”

The producer behind the hit,Kénsel Tell Them commented, “Close Enough for me was a fusion of genres. Working with Kanis & LNJ separately I knew that if I brought them together we could create a fresh new and very current sound for this new musical wave. I enjoyed the energy and difference in cultural musical representation and tried my best to combine them together without losing the essence.”
